Aidan Stitt's first post

i read to page 90 in the book sold i have noticed that the main character Lakshmi has a very hard life and that some of her family members are not very supportive. Her stepfather gambles away everything Lakshmi and her mother Ama get as soon as they get it he doesn't help protect their crops or patch the house he spends all of his time gambling. That is my brief summary of sold for this weeks readings.
